Paradise Road

Paradise Road is a Saskatoon country-rock band. The band formed in the fall of 2000 and started playing gigs in the spring of 2001. Paradise Road is: Randy Hawryliw - lead guitar & vocals, Marilyn Boll - rhythm guitar & vocals, Laurence Deslauriers - bass & vocals and Cam Zoller - drums & vocals.   We play primarily country-rock, but also do classic rock and blues, depending on the venue.  All four of us sing so, in addition to being able to do a variety of lead vocals, we do some strong two, three and even four part harmony. Cam's solid beat and Laurence's strong bass form the rhythm section of this band. Marilyn's acoustic/electric rhythm, mandolin and percussion fill out the mix.  Randy's electric rhythm and lead top it off.

All four members bring extensive experience and influences to the band. Marilyn and Randy were part of Lonesome Dove for almost five years.  Before that, Randy was in several local rock, country and MOR bands, including Jacob's Ladder, EZ Street and Avatar.  Laurence's most recent musical endeavour was with Saskatoon's own Bogart, who have three albums under their belt, which are getting international airplay.  Before Bogart, Laurence played a bit of everything, spending some time on the road with a number of different acts. Cam's background is in rock. Even though the rest of us come from a rock and pop background, Cam's the real rocker in the band, having played with Centerfold in the eighties and Jacob's Ladder in the nineties.
